Essex 5000m Track Championships

The Essex 5k Track Championships will take place at Brentwood School Athletics Track on 11th June 2025 with seeded races from 7pm. Entry cost is £10. Age Groups - Open (U20, Senior), V40 and V50. If you are a not a U20 athlete or older, please do not enter the championships! Please read ALL of the information below before entering. There will be up to 6 individual races starting approximately every 25 minutes with up to 18 athletes per race.   You will be asked to predict your finishing time on the entry form and this (together with any other relevant evidence) will determine your seeding and race allocation. We will endeavor to seed athletes with similar times to make this as much of a real race as possible. If you do not enter a time then you will be put in the slowest heat.   Your individual start ti…
